What is an Endodontist?

An endodontist is a dentist that has undergone 2-3 years of additional training following dental school to specialize in performing all types of root canals.  Dr. Matthews was trained at The Ohio State University where she learned to utilize a microscope from the begining of the procedure to visualize areas within the tooth not able to be seen or treated without one.
